Story
Hi there!
Did you know that there are over 43,000 homeless Australians under the age of 25? That 10% percent of them are couch-surfing or living temporarily with other households and 3% of them are forced to live rough, on the streets?
This Friday 26th October, Iona & I will build a cardboard shelter and experience sleeping rough for the night – a reality that 1 in 200 Australians face every night.
Iona & I will be doing this as part of the ‘2018 Sleep Under the Stars’ campaign in support of ‘Stepping Stone House’ - so they can continue to provide a safe home, care and development for homeless youth in Sydney. This year, Stepping Stone House aims to raise $400,000 to provide housing, care and education for 13 homeless young people for 1 whole year!
