Story
Mid north cast date: Saturday 24.11.18 (yes.. a little after the main event in sydney!)
Did you know that there are over 43,000 homeless Australians under the age of 25? That 10% percent of them are couch-surfing or living temporarily with other households and 3% of them are forced to live rough, on the streets? I am hosting a closed event for friends only to sleep under the stars on my land in Coomba - Join me on the 2h November from 5pm for a bon fire, (BYO mashmellows and a easy meal that can be cooked on the bonifre IE: canned food, eggs, noodles etc)
BONFIRE: Pending weather, we hope to have a bon fire cracking! feel free to bring your marshmellows!
POKER: Poker expert Kristie Hobby will be setting up a NON GAMBLING friendly poker table - all levels from beginner to expert welcome to play along.
PENDING - CURRENTLY SEEKING A LOCAL BAND TO PLAY US SOME TUNES FOR THE EVENING - LET ME KNOW IF YOU KNOW ANYONE INTERESTED!
Between now and Nov 24, ask your friends and family to sponsor your efforts of sleeping under the stars. (just like we do for our kids when they do a fun run.) Every cent raised goes to NSW homeless youth aged beetween 12 and 25
