Story
SLEEPING OUT FOR YOUTH HOMELESSNESS.
There are over 43,000 homeless Australians under the age of 25, of which roughly 10% are couch-surfing or living temporarily with other households and 3% of them are forced to live rough, on the streets.
Our team feels very passionately that all of these young people deserve our help. That is why we are again this year participating in the Sleep Under the Stars event to help raise funds for homeless and at risk youth.
This is our way to experience the reality faced by many of the homeless youth in Australia.
By sleeping out with a couple of cardboard boxes and a tarp we also want to raise awareness of this important issue and help Stepping Stone House provide a safe home and personal development for young people from all over NSW.
