Hi There!

I am deeply passionate about young people especially those who come from problematic and disadvantaged backgrounds. 

I began my interest in the helping profession as someone who also shared some personal struggles growing up and upon meeting a worker whom I believed 'was an angel in disguise', I was inspired by her kindness, professionalism and understanding.

From there, I wanted to take seriously how I could really make a change in a person's life and so I began my academic journey into Social Work. 

9 years later, I was able to complete my Bachelor, move to Sydney from QLD and now currently work in a position where I can counsel, case manage and really be involved and make an impact in young peoples' lives.

I decided to partake in this event to show my support and donate a little something to the wonderful cause, so come and support me, support them! The very young people who I believe in!

Did you know that there are over 43,000 homeless Australians under the age of 25? That 10% percent of them are couch-surfing or living temporarily with other households and 3% of them are forced to live rough, on the streets?

I feel very passionately that all of these young people deserve our help. That is why I am participating in the 2018 Sleep Under the Stars event to help raise $400,000 to keep 13 youth accommodated with support so they can become independent and the very best they can be.
